This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.1. Information We CollectInformation You ProvideWhen you create an account, you provide:Owner name — used to identify your account
Email address — used for access code recovery only
PIN — used to verify your identity for account recovery; stored as a one-way cryptographic hash (we cannot read your PIN)
Access code — a unique code you use to sign in to the App
Maintenance & Boat Data You EnterAll data you enter in the App is stored securely on our servers and is associated with your account. This includes:Boat profile information (vessel name, type, length, engine type, year)
Equipment records
Maintenance logs and schedules
Fuel logs and water logs
Spare parts lists, to-do items, and shopping lists
Engine hours records
Notes and documents you attach
This data is yours. It is used only to provide the App's functionality to you.2. Information We Do Not CollectWe do not collect:Location data
Camera or photo library access (unless you explicitly upload a photo)
Contacts
Health or fitness data
Browsing history or usage analytics
Advertising identifiers
Payment information (the App does not process payments)3. How We Use Your InformationWe use the information we collect solely to:Provide, operate, and maintain the App
Allow you to recover access to your account via email and PIN verification
Store and sync your boat maintenance data across sessions
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.4. Data Storage and SecurityYour data is stored on servers provided by Replit, Inc. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and hashed credential storage.Your PIN is hashed using a strong one-way algorithm (scrypt) before storage. We cannot recover or view your PIN.5. Data RetentionWe retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the email address below and we will fulfill your request within 30 days.6. Third-Party ServicesThe App is hosted on infrastructure provided by Replit, Inc. Your data is stored on Replit's servers. Replit's privacy policy is available at https://replit.com/site/privacy.We do not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.7. Children's PrivacyThe App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.8. Your RightsDepending on your location, you may have the right to:Access the personal information we hold about you
